Monday 3-30-09 03/30/2009
 

Today we handed in "10 things" assignment about chapters 8 and 9.  We did a punctuation grammar excercise and corrected it.  We got new vocab words for chapters 9-11...vocab quiz within a week!  We did a quickwrite about courage and shared it.  Then we began chapter 10. Finish chapter 10 for homework!!

Today we took a chapter 3 reading check and discussed. BE SURE YOU ARE reading when HW is assigned!!!  We answered Focus question 18 in 2nd hour (page 8 of packet) and focus question 17 in 4th hour (page 7 of packet).  We updated vocab logs with chapter 3 and 4 words.  We then read chapter 4 in class, and chapter 5 is homework for tomorrow. Bookmarks due tomorrow.

 
Monday, 3-23 03/24/2009
 

We finished chapter one and two in class, and read chapter 3 for homework.  We continued updating our vocabulary logs (see MAIN English 9 page for a list of vocab words if you were absent.)  Be prepared for a reading check over chapter 3 tomorrow. Bookmarks are now due Wednesday.

 
 

SSR.  We then got journal assignment sheet, TKAM packet One, and vocabulary logs.  We also signed out a copy of TKAM to use for the trimester.

Answered journal entry 1, 2 OR 3.  (Journal entries will be due within about a week...TBA).  We then copied down our vocabulary words for chapters 1-2.  We started reading chapter one, and started a
